Welcome to Desford Bowls Club
part of the Sport In Desford sports affiliation.
Our 6-rink green is currently one of the best in the area, and our clubhouse and bar offers a friendly welcome and excellent facilities for our bowling and social members.
The Green opens daily from 9am to dusk from the end of April until late September. Changing rooms are located next to the green and there are separate facilities for Gentlemen and Ladies. Within the changing rooms lockers are available to members on application to the Secretary. Notice boards in the clubhouse carry details of competition draws, team selection notices and any other information that may be of interest to members.
Our clubhouse and bar is open to members throughout the season, and our social committee organises occasional nights of live entertainment and other fun nights.
Our season starts this
Year, in April. We hope this year to increase our
membership and our aim is to encourage male,
female young and old so why not come along to the green and have a trial, our
club nights are Tuesdays and Thursdays around 6.00pm. Anyone interested please
